Ramadu & The Afro-Vibes Band are eight excellent, professional freelance musicians brought together by Ramadu to play his music live in concerts. Ramadu´s music blends characteristics of Southern African Isicathamiya (a cappella man voices), African Makosa and Western popular music which some music lovers have described as Afro-rock with wings of Funk and Soul. Basically, Ramadu and his Band represent a new vision of African young culture, whereby the audience is treated with outstanding harmonies, enchanting sounds, groove and high-energetic dance choreography.
Ramadu sings in his native language Ndebele. Besides common instruments like guitar, bass, keyboards and drums the band also plays traditional African instruments such as Djembe, Chekere, Juju shakers etc..!
